Viva Las Vega$
7:36 p.m. - 2004-07-23

I got back from Vegas last night. I have been spending time with A. today, so thats why I really havent updated yet. The first thing I want to talk about is the food. We did not have a bad meal while we were there. The best meal by far was the buffet at The Ri0. It was 22.95 per person, and you had to wait a long time. Trust me, its worth it. Get there early if you dont like waiting (around 4 p.m.), and be hungry. I mostly ate crab legs, two huge heaping plates of them. They had every kind of food you could imagine including dim sum which I also ate. Then they had these beautiful desserts. When I say beautiful, I mean that I cried a little bit. I also took a picture of my dessert plate which I will post as soon as it develops. If I had died right after that meal, I would have died as happy as it gets. The second best meal was lunch yesterday inside Cesars Palace. I had a pizza with portabella mushrooms, spinach and roma tomatoes that was too much to eat, but I ate it anyway. People who say that food doesnt make you happy are liars. Either that, or theyve never been to Vegas. This was my first vacation without A., and I savored every moment. I missed her, and I was glad to get back home; but if you have kids, you know exactly what I mean. Sometimes I would see something and think, A. would love to be here. However, mostly I saw a lot of kids with bored looks on their faces. We shopped a lot (most of the casinos have their own freaking malls inside them!), and played the slots a lot. I was pretty lucky with the slots, but never ventured past the nickel or quarter machines. The most I won was $20. Our hotel was beautiful. At any given moment, whether I was in the pool, in the room or in the huge ass bathroom, I thought to myself, I could live like this all the time and be happy. I definitely would like to go back. Oh mother nature was cruel about delaying my monthly until I actually got to Vegas. I STILL wore my bikinis, though. At C0yote Ugly, the bartender had these huge, HUGE b00bs. I was going to take a picture, but my friend wouldn't let me. She also wouldn't let me drink my beer out of a paper bag. I guess. heh!
